Спасибо за совет.
Сразу же в healt менеджере нашол 2 критические ощибки:
1. как понял связана с сертификатом vcentrer. Проверил сертификат на машине где стоит vcenter все нормально пишет и срок нормальный и подписи доверенные....не понятно что vdi серверу не нравиться.
2. Тоже связана с сертефикатами...но вот идей чем ему не нравится самоподписаный сертификат совсем не понятно.

What I want to be able to do is to create VMs on Fusion, set up a small ESX server for a home or small business, and export the VMs to the server while being able to set up autostart and other basic parameters from Fusion.

Hmm.. sorry I should have remembered that bootcamp actually doesn't support Windows XP on Mavericks.
That's most likely also why you can't boot the other VM in bootcamp anymore.
See Boot Camp: System requirements for Microsoft Windows operating systems and also https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5765223?start=0&tstart=0 so you really only can do this by changing your bootcamp VM into a normal VM while in Fusion 3 before you update your host OS into Mavericks.
There is no problem running a normal VM built by Fusion 3 under Fusion 6 (I personally still run VMs made on earlier versions)

With VMware Fusion Tech Preview 2, you can create VMs and upload it to ESX Server. For the other functions which may not available in Fusion, you can use vSphere client or web client instead.

Yes you can use View with VCVA, please check the vSphere documentation on the supported limits for the appliance.
You can also co-locate Composer and vCenter on the same windows box, in fact with older versions of View (3.x) it was the only option.

Thank you for the answers. Kind of anoying that it needs to be cleared via the Custom UI as we only run the Standard version of vCOps and don't have access to it without going for a trial for a period of time.
It would be nice if these two features were included in the Standard version.

Possible? Absolutely. Supported? You should check with the support org as I think there are caveats.
There are a few edge cases to watch out for if you have multiple View environments sharing the same Composer and vCenter instance - for example CBRC settings are configured in View but applied at an ESX host level, so conflicting settings will cause the different View setups to fight over them. I don't believe there's anything that would preclude setting it up, but you'd want to be familiar with the product to go down that route.

Судя по сертификату он является самоподписанным, а не выданным центром сертификации, поэтому для решения первой проблемы можно просто нажать "verify", емнип это помогает.
По второй проблеме: написано что сертификат не соответствует урлу на который он выдан, тут тоже возникает вопрос самоподписанный ли сертификат или выдан центром, скорее всего он самоподписанный и нужно посмотреть соответствует ли имя машины данным в Subject и Subject Alternative Name сертификата (его можно найти в хранилище сертификатов на сервере View Connection, можно если не изменяет память найти в Personal с френдли неймом "vdm"), есть подозрение что имя машины вы меняли.

Hi, I have seen this behaviour on older HP blades, G1 - G4, it seems somehow the drives get stuck and stop responding, the only way to get it back to hard reboot the server. VM are currently working because the ESXi image is loaded into ram. Expect some downtime when you reboot the host. It would be wise to schedule a maintenance.

I separate out Guest Operating System Pagefiles onto their own vmdk hosted on a separate VMFS datastore for the reason you mention. To save on the replication bandwidth. If the virtual machines are booted up at the disaster recovery site then a new guest operating system pagefile will be created so why waste the bandwidth replicating the data.
Depending on your backup solution, by separating the pagefiles out to different vmdks on different datastores may help you implement a solution where you do not backup the pagefiles.
I also do wonder sometimes if the added administration required to support virtual machines with pagefiles on non-replicated datastores if worth the saving we get.
Ideally you want your virtual machines sized for the workloads running within them so that they do not swap memory to the guest pagefile and therefore the pagefile stays empty and there is nothing to replicate or backup anyway.
I also configure the Hypervisor Virtual Machines Swapfile to be stored on a separate datastore, again so that I do not have to replicate them.

Just to give you a quick update.
When I was running the script I was connecting to our vcenter then executing the a script, tailored to individual hosts.
We have modified the script and are now running the script, whilst connected to an individual host, for some reason the script is running much better and not giving those vmtool timeout errors.
I am not sure, what difference it makes running a script via vCenter or directly running it against a specific host.
How does powercli interact with vCenter?

Абсолютно та же проблема. Сервер супермикро, контроллер тот же. Аналогично виснет напрочь через некоторое время, это происходит раз в несколько дней а может отваливаться через день. Скорее всего проблема в драйвере. Сейчас установлен Esxi 5.5.0-1331820, драйвер ставил с сайта производителя. Как выяснилось драйвер с сайта vmware тот же самый, версия aacraid-1.2.1.40301-1440192. Думаю попробовать забэкапить виртуалки, пересобрать массив, и установить гипервизор 5.5.0 update1. Если будет и дальше виснуть, наверно придется ставить версию 5.1.
P.S. Отпиши если поборол проблему. Буду весьма признателен.

Script for datastore content
Hi,
I am new in the Vmware world of scripting.
I am using powercli and working true some example scripts to find my way around.
Currently i am creating an inventory of the existing vmware infrastructure.
I have a list of all VM's and their datastore, but i need also a datastore content.
Like:
a list of all datastores in a datacenter.
Get all content of the datastore (folders, vmdk files, iso files, other files)
Get a list of all folders / files with VMservers still known in the inventory.
The goal is to know if there are files/VMservers on the datastore that are no longer in use, and to check if we have duplicate files in other datastores
